Kicking Off the General Plan Update, Airport Land Use Plan Update, and Zoning Code Update

The City’s General Plan was initially adopted over 30 years ago and various elements have been amended over the years. The most recent amendments include updates to the Land Use and Circulation Elements in 1996, and the Housing Element in 2001. The Housing Element is currently being updated and, when completed, will be incorporated into the comprehensive update. While this General Plan has served the community well, it’s now time for an update to ensure the General Plan remains successful and effective to address new issues that have arisen since its adoption.
